SPIES 2024 conference report

Greetings from SPIES conference group!

On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to thank you for your support and the favors you have done to our conference. SPIES 2024 was held successfully online and offline combination in Khalifa University, UAE
during December 4-6, 2024.

The General Chair, Prof. Ahmed Al-Durra from Khalifa University, UAE was invited to give an Opening Remark for the conference. Prof. Claudio Cañizares from University of Waterloo, Canada, Prof. Nikolaos Hatziargyriou from National Technical University of Athens, Greece, Prof. Akshay Kumar Rathore from Singapore Institue of Technology, Singapore and Prof. Xinghuo Yu from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia have shared Keynote Speeches with us. Prof. Muhammad Bakr Abdelghany from Khalifa University, UAE and Dr. Ryan Ahmed from McMaster University, Canada delivered tutorials at the conference. The General Co-Chair, Prof. Mohamed El Moursi from Khalifa University, UAE awarded certificates to all the keynote speakers, tutorial speakers, session
chairs and best papers.
